Hey everyone!
I'm currently on the local library computers, as our phone line has died, and sounds like it won't be up until Tuesday. *sigh*
So~ This is just a 'Sorry I'm not around' entry, in case anyone wanted me.
This is also doubly annoying, as my con photos came back today, and I can't post them. -_-;;
It's also bad timing, seeing as I don't know if Yami will see this, seeing I asked if she wanted to call this weekend, and if she does, she won't be able to get through!!

I have entred the NaNiWriMo thing, and part of my brain has since woken, and is having fits about the fact that it will need to find time to write 50 000 words in one month.
Not to mention the fact that I don't have a solid plot, any characters outside of vaugue notions, and all these other people in the forums have all these shiny ideas.
On top of that, I have several birthday images to finish, a request for, of all things, a Kingdom Hearts fanfic, which I have no idea where to even start, and my game plans.

I just wish I knew why I am so eager to get started on this most-likely-impossible-to-write, 50 000 word story....

Maybe we should chat this weekend, discuss story ideas and random freak-outs. XP

EDIT: I only got one drabble for my last entry, and three promised ones, that where, never-the-less, not done. *sigh*

Heh, My grandparents have spontaneously shown up at my house, apparently staying until Monday. I probably wouldn't mind so much, except for the little fact that no one in my house knew that they were comming until they arrived.
It's one of the little things that really annoys me about them. I mean, my family consists of six people, and my mother would like a little warning before two others decided to show up and treat our place as a free hotel.
Still at least it's only for a few days this time, unlike a week or more as it has been before.

Concerning the subject? My sister's science tv show ran a special on 'love' last night. The chemicals causes and reactions to be exact. It was really interesting. ^^
Though, I'm still wondering, when 'love' doesn't begin in 'lust', how do you know what you are experiencing is really love?

Otherwise~ I stalked my Yami via phonelines again last night, and emailed her this morning. ^^

I don't think anyone read my last journal entry, so I shall start talk to my Tsukasa plushie instead. *nods* (Still you think they could have looked at my Hisoka art, ne Tsukasa-kun?)

I have watched all of King of Bandit Jing, and I love it so very much. The subtitles in the OAV episodes were a little unreliable though, a couple of times I knew they were dead wrong, and sometimes they didn't even subtitle sections of the dialouge. Still, I could figure out the general idea, so it was ok.
And I have urges to draw Jing fanart...

Saiyuki still rocks my world, and just when I start planning Sanzo/Goku-ness, I see Gojyo/Goku-mess, or Sanzo/Hakkai-ness or Gojyo/Hakkai-ness... and my hentai little brain implodes. XP OMGtheirloveissostackable!!!

And I watched the free first episode of GetBackers, and I love it so very much, and I need more. *pout*

Meh, I wonder if Yami's phone is not working properly or something. I sent her a few messages to say I was home ok and to ask her something, but she either didn't get them, or hasn't gotten back to me. I'll probably try again to give her some email addresses...
...And reading Yami's journal makes for a giggling, shiny Keskes. (But who never-the-less feels sorry for her Yami's cyst-ness.)

I'm back~! Got back late last night actually, Yami's parents would let me move in with them. XD I had a great time, though I do sorta wish it had been longer, and that a couple of things had happened a little differently. But I'll get to those in cronological order, shall I?

Well, I left my town around 7 in the morning, catching a bus which took me on a 2 hour or so trip to another town, then catching a train for another 2 hour or so trip to Sydney. Then the fun stuff happened, and I went shopping~ XD I only had a couple of hours in Sydney, but I managed to get myself some (import) copies of Yami no Matsuei,
King of Bandit Jing, Weiss Kreuz and the first half of Saiyuki. I also picked up my sister's birthday present, the first volume of the Yami no Matsuei manga, DNAngel volume 1 and the first of the Sandman series (not sure if I like it though). It sounds like an awful lot, but I really didn't spend that much (maybe because imports are so much cheaper than the normal ones... even though the often contain the exact same things)
Then I spent the night with my grandparentals in Sydney, and prepard for the planetrip the next day. BUT!! (scary, ne?) I had cut my finger and toes a little in Sydney. Yeah, I know it doesn't sound that bad, and I didn't think it was either, cept my grandparentals gave me some bandaids to put on them.

Keskes no longer needs skin tests for her allergies, because she reacted quite badly to the bandaids. -_-;; One of the things I wish hadn't happened on my trip. Oh well...

The plane trip to Brisbane was horrendous. I hated it. Firstly, the travel agents who had booked the tickets booked the first one on an International flight, and had failed to tell Kes that she couldn't board the plane without proof of ID!!! -_-;; I very nearly didn't get to Brisbane at all. Still, one of the ladies working tehre got me a ticket on a different flight (which also happened to be earlier) without any difficulties. There was talk from other people that Keskes would have to purchase another ticket, but thankfully that didn't happen. (I was upset enough as it was)
So Keskes arrived at the airport a little under an hour ahead of the time she was meant to, and at a different airport altogether. Luckily she had been given her super-duper mobilephone, and used it to call her Yami's house.

*laughs* Im not sure what Yami must have thought, having the phone ring and hearing me on the end saying 'Hi I'm in Brisbane now, at Domesetic, could you come pick me up?' XD Still, about 30-40 minutes later (during which I read a bit, then fretted that they wouldn't be able to find me in the mass of people) and Keskes and her Yami finally got to meet face to face!
I'm not sure what she was expecting to happen, I had this kind of moment of reaisation, much latching and talking and such, but I think it went more like seeing each other, pausing for a moment to see if that really was her, a couple of "hi's" and fighting our way back outside. ^^
Much more verbal bonding and Alucard hat-molesting occurded on the trip back though. ^o^

Spent the night looking through the CD I made Yami, music videos, images and manga, and showing her how to setup and run Angel's Feather on her computer. Bonus? I had no idea Yami knew that much Japanese (which might not be a lot to some, but is more that I know), so I was able to figure out even more of what the people were saying in the game! XD

Then~ we had the con the next day! I was Alucard with my Seras (no I did not find it amusing to be called 'Master' by my Yami... << >>) and I... didn't take nearly as many photos as I thought I would. Why? Because every fangirl/boy and their plushie was taking photos of us! XD XD
I'd have probably had more fun if I wasn't dying from heat exhastion, but it was pretty good. We sat down at one point in the garden so I could try and cool down a bit, and everyone walking past wanted a photo (or three) of us. ^^;; The moment I'd sit down, take off the gloves, hat, coat and glasses so that I could cool off, and someone would wan a photo, so I'd have to put it all back on. XP
I kinda wished I'd gotten more photos though, even if they were just of Seras wearing my coat after stealing, or my hat after stealing that. Or Alucard doing the Cancan, but we won't go there....

I also scored myself a ...Tsukasa plushie!! And it's sooo cute! ^^ He's living on my bed at the moment, though I sometimes have to steal him back from my mother... XD I also got Petshop of Horrors part the first, and I love it, and Eerie Queerie part four.

The second day was better in some ways, and not in others, worst part being that my artwork and the original sketch went missing. I have a feeling that someone took it when I set it down at the artbook stall, seeing as it's the only time I remember putting everything down to look at the lovely books. I upset me a fair bit, becuase while the peiced was printed out, the sketch was the original, and I can't redo that. Fortunatly I had the coloured version and a scan of the sketch on the computer, so I haven't lost it entirely.
I also spent ages on this, roughly a day and a bit, from setching to finished, and you can see the finished work here. I didn't win anything, but the judge said I came really close.

OH! Before I forgt, I'm not sure which night it was on, but I have supplied my Yami-chan with a PS2, and a copy of Kingdom Hearts and a memory card. Now you can all blame me for her rants about barrels and three-headed dogs... XD XD XD

I was in deed dragged to see the Yugioh movie on Monday, and we poked much fun at it's not-very-pretty animation, not-very-good dubbing and totally-screwed-up dueling. Kaiba took at least three turns at once, last I counted, and Yami took a few more moves than he should have too. See kids? It's OK to cheat in games if you do it for the Heart of the Bloody Cards! :D

I also made dinner that night, then after dinner discovered that my toes which had been exposed to the bandaids could no longer function properly. I don't really like to say this, but then, no one heard me at the time... but I sat down and had a bloody good cry. Then I asked Yami if her father could help me start treating the darn things, and if we could see a doctor the next day.

So~ my last day with my Yami was spent lounging. ^^ I actually didn't mind, it was nice to just sit and talk about Sanzo, Goku, Hakkai and Gojyo, and the possible realtionships... Earning it the catchphrase "Their love is so stack-able!!" We aso watched the dub of King of Bandit Jing, and spent time yelling "Gimme a Kir Royale!!!!" at random moments...

All in all, I had the best time ever, I didn't want to go, and I already miss spending time with Yami (making sure she eats properly and such. XD) And I really hope we can catch up again at some point in time. <3 <3 <3 <3 And maybe I can meet 'Lia at some point! ^^

Hmmmm~ reminds me... Yami-mine? Do remember to tell 'Lia, no layout for Kes, no Angel's Feather for 'Lia. XD XD I can be ebil too...

I do wish I'd gotten more phots though, and some nice ones of my Yami. We also forgot to make a tape of our random conversations. *pout*

Ah~ the costume is here, and it's sexy and I love it. Though, it is vaugly disturbing to see myself as Alucard, with his ears peirced. Must remove sleepers prior to convention... The eyes on the inside of the lining look awesome, seriously, they're even the same style of eye that Alucard is associated with! *cackles* And they glow in the dark~ <3
I've been shrieking a bit since the package arrive, heave knows what the postman thought. XD And I've been prancing around in the costume~ So pretty~ <3
Now I just have to find a nice vest, or at least a jacket I can mutilate into a vest, and we'll be great! ^^

Anyway, It's finished!! I finished my Yami-chan's get well image, after only promising it for ages and ages and ages... #^^# Still, you can see it here.
I would have put this in Anthro, but apparently that doesn't include characters with animal ears and tails, so I put it Anime to match my art style. The character is my own, and was based apon the person who it is for.
And before anyone says it, yes, I do know that there is only one tail. I did it on purpose because drawing nine realistic tails is a real bitch...
I really like the way this turned out, even though the ears don't look as fluffy as I normally prefer, tail looks wonderful It's actually about as fluffy as my kitty's tail! XD The wall took a LOT of messing around though, but I do like it. The brick brushes I found somewhere, though the link of the page isn't working properly anymore, so I really can't tell you who's they are, just that they're not mine. ^^;
I think the shading it this is nice, amazing what you can do with blur functions and imagination...
And the clothing was inspired by a sort of poncho thing I've seen in town, and my love of oriental clothing. ^^ Brushes of the little symbols I slapped all over it were made by Misguided Buddha again. (Yes, I love their brushes!!)
...I'm not even going to start on how long that @&%^!! shadow took....

Otherwise, I'm gonna finish the picture I drew myself while I was sick (Well, it's not like anyone else gave me anything :P) then the other couple I've got standing by. By which time it'll probably be Brisbane-time... XD

I have noticed that a large amount of you have been feeling a bit down, which gets me feeling sad too. So, I've found this, which I'm sure will amuse everyone who looks at it, particularly those of us who know about the Yugioh card game, and have a love of all things Yaoi...

Using a system similar (borrowed heavily from) the YGO card games, and some fancreated cards, you play the game where your objective is to make the other player's bishounen your bishounen's bitches. It uses a range of characters from different animes, mangas and even games, and the rules are rather in depth, so you could actually play it!

Today actually started really bad for me.
I woke up, after a night with hardly any sleep (with a sore throat), because why? Because I'd been fretting. Part of me kinda went 'click!' last night, and reminded me of a few details.
Namely the fact that I'm going to be in Brisbane in exactly two weeks time, and that I still had so much stuff to get done.
I guess... I'm a bit childish in my reactions to things. I have a tendacny to pretend that bad things simpily don't happen to me, that it's not possible. I sort of imagine myself as a child in this way. I cover my eyes and ears and tune out the things that go wrong, in the desperae hope that this will make it all simpily go away.
I know that things do work that way, but I do it anyway.
.....
But I don't understand when it works. I don't understand how my pretending things will work out actually seems to make them work out.
Maybe that's why I keep doing it.

But as to how this ...talk... applies, I was really worried this morning. Two weeks away from the con, and my costume hasn't arrived yet. I hadn't even gotten an email back from the person. So I was a little freaked that they may have just taken my money and done a runner...
I was afraid that I was going to dissapoint my Yami-chan, but not having my costume. I know it's stupid, but I'm like that.
But... it all seems to have worked out before I had a chance to try. My gloves have arrived (and they look spiffy), while the rest of my costume has been shipped, and will be here next week. While I really happy about this, I guess I'm feeling a little off-kilter, emotionally, because of it all.

Maybe I should just be happy that everything has worked out, and not wonder about it all.

My Angel's Feather game arrived today! And it's so pretty~! I love the graphics, and the voice acting is really nice, though the music sometimes drowns it out. *pout* Still, I love it muchly. ^^ And I will take it to Brisbane with me and convert people with it's yummy graphics-ness and yaoi-ness~

Summary

So I've cut my lossess and leaving. ^^ I get the money Im owed on Friday, so thankfully I'm not spending THAT on these pretty-pretty games... XD

My ride didn't turn up this morning, so I got a day off. I still had to get up at 5:20 though, which is an evil hour to get up at. Still, I get to go on the net and update a few things, as well as get some hot bishy pictures... MMmmmm~ *licks*

First up! PM-sama's birthday piccy~. I'll probably do this first (less shading than the others, cause I'm lazy) as well as because it's getting a bit too far past her birthday, and I don't want to turn it into a Christmas present...
Fortunatly I had the perfect pose already worked out, so we can see the result of.... Slut!Ryuuji! XD The fuzzy Die is there because I didn't have a chance of drawing anything else without meeping and hiding under my bed... Or getting a blood vessel to rupture due to extreme blushing. The face looks a little odd though, but I think it's because of the hair being unshaded, and the eyes... I should be able to clean it up in Photoshop easily. ^^

This one I did when my Yami-chan was feeling really sick (she said she was still bad when I rung her, so hopefully this will go down well...). I'll let you see what it is for yourself, only to say that the outfit was a lot of fun to come up with, and the entire image went really well while I was drawing it. ^^ Probably shade this one next because it'll be the second easiest... Oh, and I know I've done less tails, not to mention an entire different 'feel' to the character, so I really can't say if this is Ninetails or not...

As for my other ones, Lia's one is evil to shade. >< Stupid frills.... But I'll get it done and make it look fantabulous~ Or I will eat the sketch. (I've eaten paper before... Don't look at me like that.)
My Dragongirl one is on the backburner, mainly because it's mine and no one elses, so I don't feel bad about leaving it. XD And I know I've gotten more lying around somewhere....

Characters for the game are going good, though I'll wait til the designs are done before showing them to their inspirers... If only I could keep my attention away from some of the other games I'm getting... *droolage*

On the Game front:
But~ I have gotten MANY good ideas for my game. So many I'm wondering how the hell I can pull it off as I see it in RPGMaker 2003.... Still, Final Fantasy VII didn't have the best graphics of all time, and I still worship it... <3
Best idea though is a solid concept on a character, based on something from one of you~.
Though, I'll get in contact with that person before hand, just to make sure they don't have any problems with my idea. ^^;;

I've also found a system with the characters that I love, that will provide several different characters for people to play as, with different storied for each character. Replay value anyone?
At the moment I'm going to focus on the characters, particularly naming them afterwards. -_-;; I'm really bad at names, so I might run a competition or something as a lame excuse to get people to help me with names....

Otherwise:

Am somewhat disturbed at having heard that a Brisbane bus crashed into a house sometime this morning, and that it was full of school kids.
